Hi! This is where you will find a selection of four projects I have done in the past years.

The most recent ones come first, going down to older projects.

THE KUCHE KITCHEN ORGANIZER

An Aluminum Extrusion Project

The Küche Kitchen Tool Organizer was designed for users needing to have a practical and aesthetic way of putting away their kitchen tools.

Utilizing  the aluminum extrusion process in an efficient way to create a product which would solve a problem: an organizational issue!

Nefertiti, A Jump Rope Handle

Casting Project

I remember the day I first held a jump rope in my hands. It was in elementary school and we were doing feet coordination exercises. I was trying to hold onto the handles, but they kept slipping out of my small hands…

The Nefertiti Jump Rope is designed to allow students from all ages to jump rope using a product that is adaptable to their height, is customizable and comfortable.

THE LECTERN

A Furniture Project

The Lectern project was launched with the goal of designing one which would represent the Industrial Design Department during the annual Vernissage.

The goal of this project was to show how one can develop a mechanism and apply it to a furniture project. The construction of large scale prototypes was one way of demonstrating those mechanisms.

The Lectern’s main design feature is its foldability: the fact that it is flat makes it easier to store against a wall. This is a necessary feature, for it will be kept in the Industrial Design
Department, which does not have not a lot of storage space.

A Pill Container

La TORTUGA is a pill container designed for children. Being sick is not easy and children sometimes want to stay discreet about their illness. They might also simply want an accessory which does not look like a pill container, a fun little object to
cheer them up when they must take their medication!

LA TORTUGA is a pill dispenser which contains sections for each day of the week, and which has a small locking mechanism
operated with a key. The dispensing is controlled by the child, meaning that they must be old enough to know the proper
dosage.

This product’s target users are between 7 and 10 years of age.
